"We left Lagos bright and early this morning, as planned. It was a short stop but I´m glad we stopped because the coastline is amazing and the town of Lagos has a pleasant feel to it. Apparently Lagos is also a growing tourist town, but it still appears to be holding on to its fishing heritage- which was nice. As Andy stated, today is our last full day of sailing and tonight will be our last round on night watches. Fortunately the weather has been great all morning and afternoon. We have had to switch from the ocean sailing mindset to coastal mode as there are now more vessels in the area. In fact, right now we are passing a 4 mile long string 5 trawlers on our port side. I´m looking forward to the run through the Strait of Gibraltar in the morning. Hopefully the tide behaves accordingly."
